To further strengthen fire safety awareness across all staff and enhance emergency response and self-rescue capabilities, Mingshi Xingxin and Mingshi Stainless Steel recently organised their annual fire drill training activities.
At the training, safety officers used typical fire cases to explain in detail how to identify fire hazards and the key points of handling the initial stage of a fire. They also demonstrated, one by one, the four-step operation method for fire extinguishers — "lift, pull, aim, squeeze" — as well as the correct procedure for connecting fire hydrants. During the practical session, a scenario simulating a short-circuit fire in a workshop distribution box was set up. Once the smoke alarm sounded, the emergency response teams quickly took their positions: the evacuation team guided employees to bend low, cover their noses and mouths, and evacuate in an orderly manner along the designated safety routes; the firefighting team worked in pairs, pulling the pin and spraying at the base of the flames, with the white dry powder instantly suppressing the fire; other employees practised laying out fire hoses in groups — from securing the couplings to fitting the nozzle, their movements went from unfamiliar to proficient. The atmosphere was enthusiastic and the proceedings well organised.

Combining theory with hands-on practice, the drill effectively addressed gaps in employees' fire emergency response skills. The company will continue to carry out safety training on a regular basis, fortify safety defences, reinforce safety responsibilities, and ensure safe production.
