On October 8th, under overcast skies with mild temperatures perfect for an autumn outing, the Mingshi team gathered energetically at 7:30 a.m. Three red buses, filled with laughter and excitement, set off toward Qingtian, known as the "Hometown of Overseas Chinese in China," officially kicking off the Mingshi Xingxin and Stainless Steel team-building journey.
Day 1: Soaking in the Scenery of Qianxia, Savoring the Charm of Stone Carving
After a journey of over four hours, we arrived at our first core destination—the Qianxia Lake Ecological Tourism Resort. Following a brief rest and lunch, we proceeded to the cruise dock, where a large sightseeing boat adorned with a banner reading "Mingshi, Creats a New Standard of living" awaited us quietly. At 1:30 p.m., the cruise departed on schedule. As the boat left the dock, a magnificent landscape painting unfolded before our eyes. Everyone climbed onto the deck, leaning against the rails to gaze into the distance and capture photos. The blue sky, white clouds, green waters, and lush mountains complemented one another, creating a refreshing and uplifting atmosphere. The spiritual energy of the mountains and the tranquility of the lake merged seamlessly, instantly clearing away the fatigue of work and lifting everyone’s spirits.

The one-hour cruise ended quickly, and as sporadic rain began to fall, we adjusted our plans, opting to visit the "Qingtian Stone Carving Museum" instead of the originally scheduled "Overseas Chinese Imported Goods City." Stone carving, a Chinese intangible cultural heritage and a national treasure of Qingtian, is showcased in the museum through numerous exquisite Qingtian stone carvings. Immersed in the masterful craftsmanship, the Mingshi team appreciated the ingenuity and cultural heritage embodied in each piece, gaining a more comprehensive and profound understanding of Qingtian—not only as the "Hometown of Overseas Chinese" but also as the "Home of Stone Carving."

In the evening, we checked into the comfortable Overseas Chinese Shimao Hotel and enjoyed a banquet. Leaders from the headquarters and the management team gathered with everyone, toasting and sharing joyous moments. The rest of the evening was free for leisure activities—some explored the Ou River banks under the night sky, others visited bars and cafes, while those feeling weary retreated to their rooms for an early rest.
Day 2: Exploring the Scenic Wonders of Xiandu, Discovering the Literary Ambiance of the Quarry
After a relaxing night in Qingtian, we embarked on the second chapter of our journey. Following breakfast, the team traveled by bus to Jinyun County, renowned as the "Land of the Yellow Emperor, Xiandu—A Paradise on Earth," to visit the famous national AAAAA-level scenic area—Xiandu Scenic Area.
The name "Xiandu" originated from Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty’s exclamation, "Truly a capital where immortals gather," which he personally inscribed. Upon entering the scenic area, we felt as though we had stepped into a fairyland, surrounded by lush mountains, verdant vegetation, drifting mist, and babbling streams. To catch the live performance of the "Xuanyuan Sacrifice," we hurried to the venue, the "World's First Ancestral Temple," without lingering too long. After enjoying an audio-visual feast celebrating the ancestors of Chinese civilization, a sense of national pride as descendants of the Yellow Emperor surged within us.
After the performance, we visited Dinghu Peak, renowned as the "World's First Bamboo Shoot." Facing this natural wonder that rises abruptly toward the sky, everyone marveled in awe while listening to the ancient legend of the Yellow Emperor forging cauldrons, refining elixirs, and ascending to heaven on a dragon. The profound and mysterious essence of Chinese civilization was palpable.
Next, we explored the "Yandang Study," transformed from an abandoned quarry. Passing through narrow stone gates, the towering rock walls formed a breathtaking natural dome. The rugged rocks and the warm wooden bookshelves created a fascinating contrast. Oddly, though named a study, there were no books—only the rich aroma of coffee lingering in the air. Perhaps nature itself, as a wordless tome, is the finest book of all.

A Successful Conclusion: Uniting Strength to Forge the Future
At 3 p.m., imbued with the spiritual energy of Xiandu and the serenity of the study, we embarked on our return journey. This team-building trip was a perfect fusion of nature and culture, tradition and modernity. We not only marveled at the vastness of Qingtian’s Qianxia Lake and the elegance of its stone carvings but also experienced the grandeur of Jinyun’s Xiandu and the literary charm of the quarry.
This activity not only effectively alleviated work-related stress but also significantly strengthened team cohesion. We believe that all members of Mingshi will carry the insights and vitality gained from this journey into their future work, collaborating more closely and passionately to jointly create new achievements and brilliance!
